Clarity Networks is hiring! A new position has opened up for a Back End Python Developer. We're seeking a dynamic, positive and up and coming VoIP developer legend to join our team.

ABOUT Clarity Networks

Clarity Networks + Crazytel has one of the largest geographic VoIP networks in Australia! We're passionate about VoIP. We have our own Voice/PBX platforms and networks, allowing our team to get exposure to running complex VoIP networks.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated competence with Python, including testing of code.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to and sustaining a production Python application.
• API development experience, including good knowledge of rate limits, throttling and securing the API and documentation.
• Experienced in developing and deploying software within a Linux / Unix environment.
• Ability to document technical processes in accordance with organisational policies and procedures and be able to promote bi-directional knowledge transfer within a team environment.

Most Importantly

• You enjoy collaborating with UX/UI front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• You enjoy design and implementing server-side logic and APIs. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web application architecture
• Writing SQL queries, preferably with Postgres
• Security first mindset

Requirements

• Familiarity with at least one scripting language such as Python
• Strong understanding of real-time programming languages, e.g. Golang
• Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML5, Javascript, CSS/SASS, REST, JSON
• Strong database fundamentals and experience with postgresql

Our office is located in Ipswich, Work from home from time to time is also possible.

Salary: $82,992.91 – $120,000.00 per year
